Welcome to your roundup of Xbox games for July 1-5! Next week’s highlights are the free-to-play release The First Descendant AND Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion, but there’s a lot of other good stuff too!
Here’s what’s coming to Xbox next week:
New Xbox Releases (July 1-5)
- Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail (July 2): “Blue seas, clear skies and limitless possibilities await in Dawntrail, the newest expansion pack for the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV Online! - The First Descendant (July 2): “Fight the alien Vulgus and protect the planet Albion and the continent of Ingris! First Descendant is a free-to-play third-person co-op action RPG heist with high-quality graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. With a wide variety characters with unique concepts and fighting styles, massive boss battles, four-player co-op, a variety of weapons and more!”
- Parkitect: Deluxe Edition (July 3): “Welcome to us Parkitect: Deluxe Edition, a modern take on the classic park tycoon where you build and manage the theme parks of your dreams. Build your own coasters, design an efficiently functioning park that fully immerses your guests in its theme, and play through the campaign.”
- The Hidden Orchestra of Shy Cats (July 3): “Shy Cats Hidden Orchestra is a hidden object game where you have to find musician kittens who are embarrassed to play their own music. When you find them, they will play songs for you.”
- Agatha Christie – ABC Murders for XSX / XSS (July 4): “The ABC Murders is an adventure and investigation game adapted from Agatha Christie’s classic novel. The player takes on the role of the famous Hercule Poirot in a third-person adventure game filled with mysteries. Once again, the private detective will is faced with a mysterious adversary called ABC.”
- Epic Astro Story (July 4): “Cultivate an untamed planet, building roads and homes for your fellow future inhabitants. Cultivate your strange colony into a star space fortress and you’ll attract alien tourists from anywhere this side of Alpha Centauri!”
- Home Run High (July 4): “Can you lead your high school baseball team to ultimate victory? It may be a small after-school club now, but with the right coaching, the sky’s not the limit for this team!”
- Scholar’s Friend (July 4): “Scholar’s Mate is an immersive first-person horror experience that puts you in the shoes of Judith, a young woman who wakes up in the bleak confines of a psychiatric hospital.”
- Gloomy Faith: Forsaken (July 5): “Explore the last remnants of civilization in this vast, unforgiving, interconnected world. Learn what remains of its history. Discover pockets of civilization in the ever-expanding Omnistructure. Lose yourself on a journey unlike any other. “
- Bouncy ChicEnC (July 5): It’s time for some fun on the farm in this quirky action puzzler Jumping chicken! Master the challenges with a top-down 3D-style screen as you aim to shoot your feathered projectile around the chicken pen to collect ears of corn.”
- Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero (July 5): “A mysterious new enemy threatens the world once again! Only one hero can save the world… Shockman! Join the bionic heroes Raita and Azuki as they face all kinds of dangerous enemies to save humanity. Is it too much heroic duty for you? Then join forces with a friend for some classic action!”
- Neck fracture (July 5): “Find yourself in a futuristic city full of gangs, mafia and other shady people. Become a vigilante who works during the day and goes on a killing spree at night. Get in the car, choose a destination and explore every corner of the Crimson Tide. “
- Overdrive Blaster (July 5): “In this retro-style arcade game, you have to shoot monsters to collect their colored spheres! Get three of the same color in a row to get an upgrade; get all three colors to win.”
- Paper io 2 (July 5): “Color the map in your color, eliminate your opponents, get the highest score and take over the Paper io world. Compete in a fierce battle and become the champion!”
Xbox Game Pass titles
